It is with great sadness that we, "The Alumni committee of GHS Class of '87" announce the tragic passing of Cory Farquharson. Cory was on the flight that crashed in Lake Killarney on October 5th, 2010 tragically killing all persons onboard. I am sure that most of us would remember him as being a fun loving and kind hearted person. Firstly, we wish to extend our deepest sympathy to his family and secondly, to all the families of the persons onboard that fateful flight. We pray that God will continue to bless and comfort each of you during this time of bereavement.

UPDATE: Much thanks to the alumni who showed their support to the Farquharson family in attending the Home Going service of the late Cory Farquharson this past Saturday.
